Athens Neuro and Balance Rehabilitation was recommended by her pediatric neurologist, Dr. Morris, at Athens Neurological Associates. Allie started working with her physical therapist, Patty Hopaluk-Gay, in 2017 when she was 15 years old, and PTA John Pence started seeing her in 2018.
Allie graduated from Morgan County High School in 2020. Her hobbies include swimming and art. Allie is a part time student at Georgia Military College. Her favorite parts of PT are Body Weight Supported Treadmill Training, the Virtual Reality headset, and of course talking or arm wrestling with her therapists. Allie’s mom Sarah says, “They have knowledge- specific therapists that specialize in neurological injuries and rehab. They have great energy and personalities. Therapy is always fun and effective. Allie loves it!
